Air Source Heat Pumps – Mitsubishi Ecodan installations By Heatwise Southwest Renewables Ltd – Birmingham & West Midlands

Air Source Heat Pumps From HEATWISE SOUTHWEST RENEWABLES LTD

An air to water Heat Pump system is an Air Source Heat Pump that distributes heat via your wet central heating system. In the picture is a Mitsubishi Ecodan. Heat Pumps work much more efficiently at a lower temperature than a standard boiler system would. So they are more suitable for underfloor heating systems or larger radiators, which give out heat at lower temperatures over longer periods of time. The lower the temperature we can run our system at will greatly improve our co efficiency performance (COP). Call Mark at HEATWISE SOUTWEST RENEWABLES LTD now to discuss your Heat Pump options.

Air Source Heat Pumps- Birminghams Heat Pump Experts

Air Source Heat Pump installations in Birmingham & The Midlands.  Here at ‘Heatwise Southwest Renewables’ in Birmingham  we are specialist installers of the renewable technologies…Heat Pumps, Solar Panels alike….  Below is a brief summary of how Air Source Heat Pumps work.

Air Source Heat Pumps absorb heat from the outside air. This heat can then be used to heat radiators, underfloor heating systems, or warm air convectors and hot water in your home.

An Air Source Heat Pump extracts heat from the outside air in the same way that a fridge extracts Heat from its inside. It can get heat from the air even when the temperature is as low as -15° C. Heat Pumps have some impact on the environment as they need electricity to run, but the heat they extract from the air is constantly being renewed which we call sustainable !

Heat from the air is absorbed at low temperature into a fluid. This fluid then passes through a compressor, increases in temperature, and gives off higher temperature heat to the heating and hot water circuits of the house.

There are two main types of Air Source Heat Pump system – Air to Water Heat Pump & Air to air Heat Pump. We are allways trying to educate people towards the benefits of renewable energy and how britain itelf is trying to move towards a sustainable future !!! Did you know, By 2016 gas boilers will no longer be able to be installed into a new build, this is all part of the big changeover to get great britain installing more heat pumps and saving energy just like the rest of Europe and the World.
