Air Source Heat Pumps

Air Source Heat Pumps instalations Birmingham & The Midlands.

Air source Heat Pumps absorb low grade heat from the outside air that we take for granted. This heat once it has gone through its cycle can then be used to heat radiators, underfloor heating systems, or warm air convectors and hot water in your home.

An Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) extracts low grade heat from the outside air in the same way that a fridge extracts heat from its inside. It can get heat from the air even when the temperature is as low as-15˚C. Heat pumps have some impact on the environment as they need electricity to run, but this source of low grade heat we extract is totaly renewable and will not run out in our lifetime unlike oil and gas! Thus helping us all lean towards pushing for sustainability in the near future.
